藏历火猴年佛陀天降日，尼泊尔博达迦叶佛舍利满愿大佛塔开光盛典吉祥图
佛陀天降日那天，在师君三尊修道之时修建的愿力满愿见解脱大佛塔维修开光盛典。
往昔无数劫前，观世音菩萨在阿弥陀佛足下，誓愿要令一切众生解脱世间的苦恼。解救无数众生脱离忧患后，便登上普陀落伽宫殿的顶部，心想已令一切众生无余解脱。可是，当他详细视察六道情况时，看见还有许多众生如蝇附粪池地在恶趣中。菩萨心想：势无可能救度一切众生脱离苦海？不禁哭泣起来，滴下了两滴泪珠并祈愿，即使这两滴泪，亦能帮助未来的众生克服忧恼。这两滴泪珠变化成为三十三天因陀罗王的两个女儿，其中小女儿落到人间成为尼泊尔的摩古达地区的一位养鸡者的女儿。被称为“养鸡妇森弗那”，后来她生了四个儿子，并在其中三个儿子成就了师君三尊之时，母发大愿建塔，四个儿子遵从母亲的遗愿，继续修持完成大塔。大迦叶如来的金刚不坏舍利被封置于塔里的生命树内。在陈设丰盛供养，和遍撒供献的香花后，大迦叶佛由众多随从菩萨围绕出现，遍布在塔前的空际。十方一切佛、菩萨众由无数阿罗汉围绕，三界诸天王与及无数寂静忿怒尊，不可思议，像胡麻花怒放般显现；他们撒下花朵，而他们的吉祥莅临，令盛会增光不少。这时候，铙钹之声大作，诸天撒下雨花，处处清香飘荡的是过去维修满愿大佛塔的开光历史。
如今，在两年前因自然灾害地震所造成损坏的满愿大佛塔，由热爱和平、虔诚的世界各地广大信徒们发愿开始组织维修，并在尼泊尔前译宁玛协会的大力支持下，将四大舍利等佛像、经文、塔的污垢清净，并按过去高僧大德们的所传承来装藏，维修准备的工作历经2年时间。
去年天降日时，尊贵的敦珠法王等四大教派的高僧大德们装藏仪轨圆满完善，在众生的依护噶举派主等虔诚的各界佛弟子们发心下，佛塔外观贴金，无上满愿大佛塔内外的维修圆满完善。
藏历火猴年佛陀天降日，尼泊尔博达迦叶佛舍利满愿大佛塔前，敦珠法王等宁玛派大德与各寺的堪布高僧，左右仓古仁波切等噶举派各僧众，萨迦派由萨迦度母宫法王子大宝金刚仁波切和格鲁派由来自印度的大格西和全体僧众，举行各派传承仪式，由四大教派各高僧大德和全体僧众经过三天时间的广大开光，迎请十方诸佛加持并祈愿一切众生获得暂时和究竟利乐而发愿回向圆满的汇聚吉祥之图。
On Lhabab Duchen, the auspicious day when Lord Buddha descended from the heavenly realm, there was a great celebration for the consecration of the perfectly restored Great Stupa That Liberates Upon Sight. This stupa was erected when Khenpo Bodhisattva (Shantarakshita), Guru Rinpoche and King Trisong Deutsen were on the path of training – it was the complete consummation of their well-known pure prayers. Some history of this precious stupa is as follows. A very long time ago, Noble Avalokiteshvara prayed at the feet of Buddha Amitabha to liberate all beings from the realms of samsara, and he brought an immeasurable number of beings out of samsara. Then, from the highest place in his pureland, Mt. Potala, Avalokiteshvara looked down, thinking that there wouldn’t be a single being remaining. Yet, upon seeing that there still were sentient beings within the six realms, as numerous as the dregs of grain in a beer barrel, he wept, with immense compassion. Flinging away his tears with two fingers, he prayed to bring benefit to beings in the future, and two daughters of the Lord of Gods were born. The smaller one descended to the human realm, taking birth as a Nepali maiden who looked after birds. She joined in union with men from four lowly professions and bore four sons, three of whom were to become Khenpo Bodhisattva, Guru Rinpoche and King Trisong Deutsen. The work that she began on building the stupa was continued by her four sons. They filled the stupa with precious inner supports of a great volume of the relics of Buddha Kashyapa, measured as per the tradition of India,. During the consecration of the stupa at that time, buddhas and bodhisattvas from everywhere throughout the three times gathered in the sky above. Beautiful music sounded; auspicious verses were recited; and a flower rain descended. There are more extensive histories of this precious stupa written from times of its earlier restoration.Regarding the present occasion, two years ago the stupa became cracked due to the earthquake. Thereafter, many in the world who desire peace and happiness along with the devout and generous came together and began the restoration work. The group representing the Early Translation Nyingma School shouldered the responsibility for arranging the inner precious supports for wisdom body, speech, and mind to fill the stupa, principally with four different types of precious relics. These were prepared as the basis, through rituals done according to the tradition of sublime masters of old, purely and stainlessly, and the work stretched out over two years. Last year on Lhabab Duchen, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and many other great lamas from the four schools did extensive rituals to properly prepare these items. The Kagyupas, Guides of Beings, primarily along with other Buddhists made the arrangements for the outer gold gilding of the spire of the stupa. The celebration of this perfect accomplishment of such an extremely auspicious resplendence of golden light, externally, internally and everywhere in between, happened on the day of Lhabab Duchen during the Tibetan Fire-Monkey year. Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche came as the great Nyingma lama along with many other khenpos, tulkus, lamas and disciples to gather before the precious stupa. To the left and right were Trangu Rinpoche from the Kagyu lineage; Sakya Dungsey Rinpoche from the Sakya lineage; and Gaden Trizur Rinpoche from the Gelupas. All of these great lamas, tulkus, khenpos and disciples did the ritual practices of their own individual traditions. Gathered there, monasteries and lamas from all four of the main Tibetan Buddhist lineages performed a profound and extensive consecration ceremony over the course of three days. Wisdom beings, buddhas and bodhisattvas from the ten directions were invoked into the support of the commitment beings, becoming indivisible. The request for the wisdom beings to take their seats and their bestowal of blessings followed. Finally there were many heartfelt and pure aspirations for all beings throughout the six realms to enjoy happiness in the near future and the final bliss of liberation. Here I have arranged together some good pictures of this amazing supreme support of the wisdom mind of Buddha – an excellent sign of virtue, brilliant, dazzling with light, and totally auspicious.
